Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,269 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: IMCU/Step Down RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in IMCU/Step Down nursing License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have experience caring for higher-acuity patients, including trach and ventilator patients. Must have experience with critical care drips and titrated infusions. Must have experience managing complex cardiac and respiratory patients. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Description: We are looking for IMCU/Step Down RNs. The ideal candidates should have a background in caring for higher-acuity patients. Experience with trach and ventilator management is essential. Candidates should be proficient in administering critical care drips and titrated infusions. Experience with intermediate care and step-down level patients is required. RNs may be required to float to different units to meet patient care needs. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Expected patient ratios are 1:3 and 1:4. Candidates will need to have a flexible schedule for potential floating to various facilities. Strict adherence to the contract schedule is necessary.
