Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,272 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience titrating drips in Stepdown and Heparin gtts on the Floor - Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown. The nurse will work 36 hours a week consisting of three 12-hour day shifts. Weekend, holiday, and call requirements are scheduled as needed. The unit has a total of 31 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:5-6 for the Floor. Common patient diagnoses include MedSurg, Cardiac, IDDM, COPD, Trauma, Ortho, ENT, and Urology. Registered Nurses will work alongside 3-4 nurse aids for patient care. Telemetry is available on the unit, and monitoring technicians assist. Registered Nurses are required to have BLS and ACLS certifications. A Charge Nurse oversees each shift, and a House Supervisor is available 24/7. Respiratory Therapy is in-house full-time, but there are no vents on this unit. Scrub color is royal blue, and the dress code must be followed.
