Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,279 per week in Arlington, VA

The nurse will work in an intermediate care unit focused on pulmonary care. Patients will require advanced airway management. The patient population includes adult to geriatric patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Common conditions include CHF, unstable angina, myocardial infarction, and cardiac dysrhythmias. The nurse will manage patients on ventilators, tracheostomies, high-flow oxygen, or BiPap. Comprehensive respiratory proficiency is required. The nurse will perform tasks related to the management of cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and central line care. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential. The position requires a willingness to take on charge nurse responsibilities when needed. Weekend shifts are required as part of the schedule. All candidates must provide proof of active licensing at submission. Candidates must meet all vaccination requirements.
