Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit – Colorado

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Thornton, Colorado

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance

• 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio with strong team support including charge nurse and dedicated PCTs
• Diverse case mix including post-operative orthopedic and spine patients, cardiac procedures (post-PCI, pacemaker, ablation), stroke, chest pain, and respiratory failure
• Telemetry monitoring and post-operative recovery care for surgical and cardiac catheterization lab patients
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN with opportunities for skill development
• Excellent unit culture focused on teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth with a wide range of nursing experience levels

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
