Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,302 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: Must have a Georgia or compact license in hand Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: Experience with rhythm identification Description: This unit operates like an ICU but is considered an advanced progressive care unit due to the ratios. The unit cares for 24-hour post-CABG cardiac surgery patients with chest tubes. Ventilator experience is not required; however, experience with LVADs is preferred, and training will be provided. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5. Candidates will be required to take a rhythm identification test upon starting. They are allowed two attempts to pass the test. This test is not multiple choice.
