This position requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting. We offer a night shift schedule of 3x12, with the potential for 4x12 shifts if preferred. You will be responsible for managing patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac, neurological, and orthopedic cases. The patient ratio is typically 1:4 in this fast-paced unit. You must be comfortable floating within the facility to meet patient care needs. Required skills include the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring. Experience with post-cardiac procedures, renal failure management, and care of ventilated patients is essential. Maintaining effective communication with interdisciplinary team members is critical to providing high-quality patient care. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse who can enhance our team dynamics and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
