# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry – VirginiaStart Date: September 9, 2026
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Every 3rd weekend plus one additional Friday or Saturday per schedule; Patient ratio 4:1Highlights:

• 25-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with a collaborative team environment
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, and 1 Tech for optimal support
• Meditech EMR system in use; equipment includes EKG machine, Hoyer Lift, and LifePak
• Fast-paced environment with admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures
• Typical procedures include peritoneal dialysis (PD) and EKGs; most cardiac procedures performed in Cath Lab
• Low probability of floating, primarily to Med Surg units if needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cardiac Telemetry experience with demonstrated ability to read and interpret EKGs
• Ability to prioritize and modify patient care in response to rapidly changing conditions
• Strong clinical judgment with timely physician notification regarding patient status changes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
