Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for a professional nurse looking to work in a high-acuity, comprehensive stroke unit that emphasizes teamwork and exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as stroke, neuro, ICH, and neurosurgery overflow
Perform neuro assessments, phlebotomy, EKG rhythm analysis, and manage NG/Dobhoff placement
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and specialists
Utilize technology such as Cerner EMR, Plum IV pump, and Omnicell medication dispensing

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

Minimum of 2 years experience required, 3 years preferred
Current NIHSS and BLS certifications
Skills in neuro assessment, phlebotomy, EKG rhythm analysis, and port access
Experience with heparin gtt and stable high flow and Bipap
