Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: BLS certification from an approved vendor ACLS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: No hits on state license to practice Driver's license to verify residency Travel experience (highly preferred) Description: This unit consists of mixed surgical and medical/surgical patients. Staff may be required to float to other medical/surgical units or the observation unit. Candidates must have previous travel experience to be considered. All candidates must clearly outline their flexibility regarding locations, shifts, and departments. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and cannot be taken during the first week of the assignment. All shifts and departments the candidate is willing to work in should be specified. Candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept the offer. Immediate notification is required if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Compliance with all background check standards is essential. All required documentation must be provided, including a complete resume outlining facilities worked, departments, trauma level designation, and number of beds. A completed skills checklist for PCU must be submitted, and certifications should come from approved vendors.
