Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 24 months experience in Progressive Care Unit with recent experience in the last 12 months required License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: - Life support certifications must be from an approved organization - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency - Previous travel experience highly preferred Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support where necessary. Traveling nurses may be utilized across various adult health units, including Med-Surg and Progressive Care. Float assignments may occasionally include taking care of adult health patients waiting for a bed in other areas, such as the emergency department or recovery area. Candidates must be willing to float to different units as needed throughout the duration of their contract. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is encouraged for a faster placement. Required time off must be clearly stated and cannot exceed 7 days, with no time off allowed during the first week of the assignment. Candidates should possess completed documentation, including a skills checklist from the last 12 months. All candidates submitted should be prepared for immediate acceptance of the assignment. Adherence to compliance requirements and background check standards is essential.
