The role requires working in a 24-bed mixed acuity unit, providing care for medical patients needing telemetry monitoring, as well as progressive care level patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel- Provide care for medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Manage cardiovascular treatment plans involving medication drips
- Conduct frequent NIH assessments for neurological patients
- Handle a patient ratio of 1:5/6
- Float within the unit as required
Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- 2+ years of recent PCU/TELE experience
- Epic and Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
- Accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE
