Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Med / Surg, Telemetry Cardiac, PCU, Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7a-7p Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Valid State RN license or Compact License Certifications: BLS certification, ACLS certification Must-Have: Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience Description: The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team. They are responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. Candidates must possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. This position is open to all qualified applicants.
