Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,335 per week in Spokane, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU/Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have cardiac drip experience to titrate and manage. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Description: Seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN with cardiac drip management experience. Experience in managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is a hard stop requirement. Position may require floating to other units due to staffing needs. Travelers are the first to float if necessary. Weekends are required, with a schedule of every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:4-5. This facility is a teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds. Charting is done using an electronic system. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Common patient diagnoses include CHF, Afib, RVR, and chest pain. The position may involve a variety of patient care tasks and procedures typical for a PCU/Stepdown setting. Candidates should possess skills in cardiac telemetry and relevant patient care protocols. Professional references are required within the last 3 years. This position may include various technical nursing skills and management of complex patient care scenarios. Floating to nearby sister facilities may occur as required.
