Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Provide high-acuity, evidence-based care to patients in a Progressive Care/Multi-Trauma setting
- Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced cardiac and hemodynamic support
- Care for post-surgical, trauma, and critically injured patients transitioning from ICU-level care
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary trauma team to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and responses per hospital standards
- Support patients and families through recovery and education on post-discharge care
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (TNCC and PALS preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent PCU, Trauma, or Step-Down experience
