Schedule: Standard unit schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation. No on-call requirements.

Requirements:
Active Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Current NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Skills checklist pertinent to PCU specialty (current within 1 year)
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
Recent travel work history highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing patient assessments and provide skilled nursing services according to physician-authorized care plans
Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, and response to patient needs
Function as team leader and resource, delegating and providing direction to support staff
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to establish and evaluate patient goals and outcomes
Evaluate treatment effectiveness and participate in care plan revisions using evidence-based practice
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and facility-specific policies
