Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of recent step down experience. - Ability to work at least every other holiday. - Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores on both assessments. Description: This position involves working in a step down unit. Potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Rotating shifts between day and night are required. Shifts may vary based on the operational needs of the facility. PCU/progressive care experience is preferred but not required. An acceptable reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required for submission. All required certifications must be active with no pending items. Compliance with nicotine-free facility requirements is necessary, with exceptions for certain roles. Candidates must complete mandatory background checks within specified timeframes. Candidates are required to complete badging and fingerprinting prior to the start date. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with specific time required varying by specialty.
