Job Opportunity – Progressive Care / Stepdown RN – Ohio
Start Date: December 20, 2026
Location: Central Ohio

Schedule: 13-week assignment with 32 hours of orientation. Float requirements to different units within the organization as needed. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 34 patients across 44 beds.

Work with diverse patient diagnoses requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, PCU, DOU, or IMC setting
Experience must be current (actively working in specialty within the last 12 months)
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, and oxygen administration
Knowledge of isolation precautions, peripheral line management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
Epic charting system experience preferred
Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
