Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Deliver high-quality patient care within a fast-paced PCU environment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding promptly to abnormalities
- Administer medications and treatments, ensuring patient safety and adherence to care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and compliance standards
- Respond to medical emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Valid North Carolina RN license
- Current BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years' recent PCU experience
