Experience:
18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required.
Recent step down experience is a must.
License:
Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required.
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Must-Have:
Candidate must be willing to work every other holiday.
Candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a medication safety assessment during orientation, and acceptable scores on both assessments are required.
Description:
The position involves working in a step down unit focusing on patient care for individuals recovering from vascular surgeries.
Candidates may be required to float to other units as needed to care for a similar patient population.
The role requires a combination of assessment and coordination of care for patients with complex medical needs.
All certifications must be active at the time of submission.
Candidates must provide a reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the specialty applied for.
Travelers are subject to compliance checks and must undergo a background review.
Candidates must be nicotine-free unless exempt as specified.
Travelers can remain on assignment for a maximum of 18 months, after which a break is required before returning.
Modules and assessments needed for orientation and annual compliance will be outlined prior to the start of the assignment.
