Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN- Utilize thorough knowledge of nursing principles to provide quality patient care
- Assess patient's needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
- Recognize safety issues and safely assist with patient mobility
- Perform effectively in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
- Lead with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Assume duties as a charge nurse when required
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Requirements of the PCU RN- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current NY RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH certification required; PALS preferred
- Completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment
- Current critical care experience preferred
