Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMCU Duration: 48 hours Shift: Days/Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in an IMCU or similar setting - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an intermediate care unit. Manage and monitor patients with various medical conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, TDM2, substance abuse, and encephalopathy. Administer medications and treatments, including heparin drips, as prescribed. Ensure a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 for optimal care delivery. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families regarding health management and discharge plans. Maintain accurate and updated patient records. Adhere to all safety and quality standards in patient care.
