Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Progressive Critical Care Unit in Albany, NY. This role requires Epic experience and involves caring for medically delicate and surgically complex patients. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)- Manage care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, head injuries, and complex traumas
- Administer antihypertensive, sedative, narcan drips, and thrombo-embolytics
- Monitor advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage per titration protocols
- Implement infection prevention protocols and manage ortho traction
- Operate equipment such as HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent
Requirements of the RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)- Active Registered Nurse license
- ACLS certification
- Competency in the care of medical and surgical populations
- Experience with large scale adult PCU or community hospital ICU
- Completion of competency test required within 24 hours of submission
