Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,779 per week in Kansas City, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - NIHSS - Stroke experience - ACLS Description: This position is approved for travelers. The unit has a total of 16 beds. Patient ratios on the unit are 4:1. Unit staffing includes the availability of techs. Equipment used on the unit includes Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, telemetry, bladder scanner, and Doppler. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. The schedule requires 3 shifts per week, including 3-4 weekend shifts. Agency and contract staff may be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency. Telemetry, stroke, cardiac drips, and basic dysthymia experience are essential for this role. No specific procedures are performed on the unit.
