Schedule: Medical Step Down Unit | 6–20 bed unit | Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 | Possible float to other Intermediate Care units as needed
Highlights:
Work in a dynamic Medical Step Down environment caring for a diverse patient population
Manage complex conditions including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
Consistent nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 supporting quality care delivery
Opportunity to float to other Intermediate Care units (5J and 12A most common) to enhance clinical skills

Requirements:
Active Georgia RN license (or eligibility for compact licensure)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or step down setting
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
