Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Step-Down Unit – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Medical step-down unit serving 6-20 beds with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Possible float assignments to other intermediate care units as needed. Mandatory holiday coverage required, including either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, plus either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical step-down, progressive care, or intermediate care setting
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience managing complex medical patient populations preferred
