Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Medical Care Unit – Georgia

Schedule: 48 hours per week, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, 16-bed Intermediate Medical Care Unit
Highlights:
Intermediate care environment with diverse patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, diabetes management, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
Experience with heparin drips and critical medication management
13-week contract assignment with immediate start availability
Collaborative unit team in a fast-paced medical center setting
Opportunity to advance skills in progressive care nursing
Mandatory holiday coverage required: Thanksgiving or day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day
Requirements:
Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU or ICU stepdown experience
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Demonstrated competency with heparin drips and high-acuity medical patients
