Job Title: Step-Down Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Step-Down experience License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac monitoring experience - Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills - IV/Vascular and PICC line management - Blood product administration - Emergency medication administration - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring Description: Seeking a Step-Down Registered Nurse with recent experience on a critical care step-down unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with various diagnoses, including congestive heart failure and respiratory failure. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management. Duties include frequent vital sign checks and neurovascular monitoring after specific procedures. The nurse will also be expected to administer medications, including emergency medications and cardiac drips.
