Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,891 per week in Franklin, OH

Description: The position involves working in a Progressive Care Unit. Candidates will float to different units at the discretion of management based on patient needs. Availability to work every other weekend and holidays is required. Cancellations of shifts may occur due to low census during the contract period. The ability to provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients is essential. Common patient diagnoses include COPD, congestive heart failure, stroke, renal failure, and post-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Special procedures in the unit include chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, and pharmacologic treatment of arrhythmias. Requirements include managing various technologies and performing specific nursing procedures. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to nearby facilities.
