Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $3,014 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac/vascular experience Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Stepdown. Candidates must have experience in caring for cardiac surgery post-operative patients. Common cases include CABG, valve replacements, and heart transplants. Vascular surgery experience with procedures such as AAA repair and angiograms is also necessary. Nurses will manage a stepdown ratio of 1 RN to 3 patients. Nurses must be skilled in titrating drips, including Heparin and Amiodarone. CMTs on the unit will interpret cardiac strips. Shifts include every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. The dress code consists of solid royal blue and white scrubs. Unit orientation will be provided over 2-3 shifts. This unit is noted for its emphasis on quality care and teamwork. Charting is completed using a specified electronic health record system.
