Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $3,066 per week in Bloomington, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must be able to read telemetries and be comfortable with chest tubes Description: Care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions including COPD, CHF, Diabetes, sepsis, renal issues, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdoses, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions. Provide care for neuro, surgical, and cardiac patients. Administer and manage Bipap, Cpap, trach care, chest tubes, NG tubes, PICC lines, and central lines. Monitor and assist patients post-ablation and cath lab procedures, as well as support dialysis patients. Utilize computerized charting and medication systems. Experience with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing is preferred. Travel RNs will have rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays. Be prepared to float to different units as required. Nurse to patient ratio is 3-4 patients per nurse. Dress code includes scrubs in any color. This position involves working on an inpatient acute floor.
