Key Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Care RN, you will:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate care services.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of treatment plans and encourage patient engagement in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and efficient care.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patients' conditions and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Schedule Details:

Night Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Full-time, permanent placement.

Qualifications

  • BSN or MSN required, or must be obtained within 2 years of hire
  • Minimum 2+ years of Intermediate Care experience required
  • New Grads accepted, 2 years experience minimum
  • Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and emergency response skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
