Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions considered. Description: This is a 24-hour position. The nurse can work two 12-hour shifts or three 8-hour shifts. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with a patient ratio of 4 is preferred. The position requires experience with charting systems, specifically EPIC. Community hospital experience is preferred. Long-term acute care experience is preferred. Trauma experience is not required. Travel experience is not required. Skills required include managing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and psychotic disorders. The position requires knowledge of behavior management techniques and crisis intervention. The nurse will manage medication administration and patient care. Experience working with adolescents and pediatrics is essential. The daily census for this role is 12 patients. The unit has 16 beds. Weekend coverage is required, with a patient ratio of 4 on weekends. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams, including IV teams and rapid response teams.
