The focus is on geriatric psychiatric care. The unit has a total of 120 beds and a staff of 50 individuals. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:8-9, estimated for both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with Welsh Allen Vital Signs Machines and uses Meditech as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Candidates with strong inpatient Behavioral Health experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures include Behavioral Health admissions and discharges. There are opportunities to lead RN resource classes. Floating to other inpatient adult Behavioral Health units is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to manage varying patient acuity levels. Team players with compassion are essential for this position.
