CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. Must be at least 21 years of age. May be required to work flexible hours. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in the Behavioral Health specialty. The role involves overseeing nursing staff and managing patient care within the unit. The nurse will handle patient assessments and treatment planning. Direct experience with psychiatric, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and geriatric patients is preferred. The candidate should have strong communication skills to coordinate with external review organizations. This position requires working with a patient ratio of 1:11, in a facility with 77 beds. The environment may require floating to different units as needed.
