Travel RN Inpatient Psychiatric Services jobs at Childrens Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO let you deliver evidence-based, family-focused care to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises. You will assess, monitor, and implement treatment plans for patients ages 3 to 17, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and documenting interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
To qualify, you need a current Colorado RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1 year of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience with EMR systems and strong clinical assessment skills are necessary.
Recommended skills include adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, structured environment. Pediatric experience is a plus.
