Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $1,894 per week in Salisbury, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: NC or Compact license pending accepted for submission. Certifications: BCLS and MOAB. Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted. - Experience in managing patients with psychiatric diagnoses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and major depression. - Familiarity with some charting systems, preferably Epic. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancellation. Minimum two years of experience in a similar role is required. Unit will accept travelers with first-time travel experience. Travelers should be available to float to other units as necessary, primarily to related behavioral health units. Every other weekend work is required. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:8. Daily census is approximately 16 patients. Staffing includes support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates should be proficient in de-escalation techniques and medication administration. All required certifications can be offered at the facility. Pre-approval is necessary for any requested time off.
