Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $1,899 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Behavioral Health RN required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required - AHA only, CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience required - Experience with lower RN to patient ratio Description: Evening/Night shifts, including 8 and 12-hour shifts. Schedule includes 1500-2330, 1900-0730, and 2300-0730. Weekend rotation and holidays may be required. Psych experience with lower RN to patient ratio is essential. Primary role will not involve medication distribution. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 14 patients. Patient diagnoses may include schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Interdisciplinary support includes various services like therapy and pharmacy. The facility is designated as a Magnet facility and is recognized as a leading institution. Telemetry exam will be required prior to the start. Candidates must meet strict passing criteria on exams. Attempts to pass the telemetry exam are limited to two. If a candidate fails, additional requirements will be necessary for further attempts.
