- Schedule: 12x3
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1900 to $2070
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients
- Assess patient mental and physical health conditions
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and coping strategies
- Promote a safe and therapeutic care environment
Requirements
- Active RN License in Utah
- Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
- BLS Certification required
- CPI certification preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and crisis management skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced behavioral health settings
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
