Description:
Will be responsible for pediatric and adolescent patients only (ages 5-17).
This position requires travel experience.
Candidates should have experience in behavioral health, particularly with children and adolescents.
Skills required include crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, behavior management, and medication administration.
Experience with various mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and psychotic disorders is essential.
The role entails managing self-injurious behavior and understanding severe intellectual disabilities and substance use disorders.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle emergencies and be familiar with seclusion protocols and procedures.
Effective communication and interpretation of lab values are also necessary for this position.
Interdisciplinary support will include social services, pharmacy, and other allied health professionals.
