The focus will be on adolescent patients. The role involves working in a crisis stabilization unit. Responsibilities include medication management and facilitating group therapeutic activities. Groups are conducted by nursing staff, mental health workers, occupational therapists, music therapists, yoga therapists, and social work professionals. Patient demographics include adolescents with diagnoses such as PTSD, suicidal ideation/self-harm, ODD, MDD, and generalized anxiety. The unit typically accommodates 22 beds, with an average daily census of 20. Travelers are expected to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
