Description: Position for a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse on an adolescent female unit. The unit provides crisis stabilization, medication management, and group therapeutic activities. Candidates should have experience in managing patients with various behavioral health issues, including PTSD, suicidal ideation, and anxiety disorders. The daily patient census is around 20, with a patient ratio of approximately 4.5 during night shifts. Flexibility to float to different age populations when necessary is expected. Candidates may be required to fulfill charge nurse responsibilities during shifts without additional pay. The unit supports interdisciplinary care, which includes collaboration with phlebotomy, pharmacy, and social work. All candidates must be prepared for potential behavioral health emergencies and patient interventions.
