Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $2,074 per week in Hazard, KY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current experience in behavioral health nursing required. License: Active Kentucky or compact nursing license required. Certifications: AHA BLS and CPI certifications required. Must-Have: - 2 years of current psychiatric experience. - Ability to float within scope of practice. - Availability to work every other weekend. - Compliance with blocked scheduling is not accommodated. - Residency requirement: Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility. Description: The role requires a registered nurse specializing in behavioral health. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. The position involves working a schedule of 36/48 hours for a two-week pay period. Float requirements are within the scope of practice. Travelers must accept a rotating schedule of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week. Registered nurses must work either a major or minor holiday. References required must include one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor, both completed within the last year. All certifications must be provided at the time of submission. Background policies will be adhered to strictly. Travelers who have completed one year must take a minimum 6-month break before reapplying. RTO consideration is limited to 7 days, presented upfront with no changes accepted.
