Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in an inpatient psychiatric setting License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Previous behavioral health experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in the patient's clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and co-workers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. You must be willing to work with both adult and pediatric care. You will work with a diverse patient population including geriatric, pediatric, and adult patients with diagnoses such as schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety.
