Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 10-13 weeks, with a preferred start date Shift: PM-AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have experience with IEA/Involuntary status with higher acuity patients License: RN license required Certifications: AVADE/MOAB/CPI training mandatory Must-Have: Experience in Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit Description: We are looking for a registered nurse for an inpatient adult psychiatric unit. The shift will be overnight, with a requirement of 36 hours per week. Experience with higher acuity patients is essential. Candidates must have experience with involuntary status patients. Mandatory certifications include AVADE, MOAB, and CPI training. Experience with restraint chair is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with EPIC electronic medical records. We emphasize a team approach to nursing. Patient-centered care is a priority in our unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios are approximately 1:6-7. Schedules will be provided 4-6 weeks in advance.
