Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state or compact license required Certifications: BLS, CPI, Aegis Must-Have: - Epic charting experience - Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity - Previous charge experience preferred Description: The position involves providing care in a behavioral health setting. Staff will utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques. Candidates will work with patients experiencing various psychiatric conditions. This includes schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Staff will be part of an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and social services. The role requires managing patient safety utilizing appropriate restraints when necessary. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency in medication administration and crisis intervention. Ability to work weekends is required, and schedule flexibility is necessary. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a leadership position.
