Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS certification required, ACLS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: RN experience Preferred Skillset/Experience: Behavioral health experience Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors, managers, and co-workers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. You will have graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. You will hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. You will have BCLS Certification. You will have a minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
