**Exciting Opportunity for a Behavioral Health RN - Nights!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) working the night shift! - Shift Information: Night shift 1830-0700; every other weekend and holidays required. **Essential Functions:** - Manage and coordinate nursing care activities for clients during their hospitalization. - Conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. - Direct other healthcare personnel involved in client care, promoting teamwork and collaboration. - Maintain professional accountability for all nursing care provided. - Engage with clients 18 years of age and older, addressing diverse behavioral health needs. **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. - Current Illinois nursing license; B.S.N. preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting. - Certifications: BLS and CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention With Advanced Physical Skills (APS). **Skills and Abilities:** - Strong organizational and coordination skills in nursing care. - Effective communication and critical thinking abilities. - Adapt to new techniques and procedures without performance deficiencies. - Operate standard office equipment and nursing software. **Physical Demands:** - Ability to lift and assist clients up to 25 pounds. - Requires standing for long periods, bending, and walking. - Must maintain good body mechanics to prevent injuries. **Responsibilities:** - Implement nursing assignments tailored to the skill level of team members. - Accurately administer and record medications as per policy. - Facilitate group therapies and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning. - Ensure compliance with all infection control policies and organizational procedures. - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients. **Additional Duties:** - Attend in-services and meetings as required. - Contribute to departmental goals and client care improvements. - Foster positive relationships with colleagues and healthcare teams. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
