Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 23:30 Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an inpatient psychiatric setting License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Previous behavioral health experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting Willingness to work with both adult and pediatric care Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. You must have graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. You must hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). BLS certification is required; ACLS is preferred. You should have a minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
