Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Previous pediatric psych experience, phlebotomy experience License: NH or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Willingness to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent population Description: Psychiatric Registered Nurse needed for an immediate start. This position is for a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric facility. The traveler must be aware of and willing to work with a pediatric patient population. The RN performs general or specialized nursing duties under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include the care and treatment of residents and utilizing the nursing process. The RN administers medication and medical treatment as needed. Comprehensive treatment planning is conducted with a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The role upholds the vision and mission of the agency through daily practice. Utilization of practice model theories, beliefs, and principles is expected.
