Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations within a skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical outcomes.
The Director of Nursing will provide strategic clinical leadership, support staff development, and ensure effective coordination of all nursing services within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical workflows
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
Develop and implement nursing care standards and protocols
Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
Promote patient safety and high-quality care delivery
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
Experience in nursing leadership or supervisory role required
State-issued identification required
